What an amazing place New Zealand is in Autumn. Orange and Yellow leaves littered all over the place and the only thing that would have made the trip any better was a fresh falling of snow over the golden landscape.
Driving from Queenstown to Glenorchy we saw a sign for Moke Lake and we decided we were going to stop off on the way home. It was a long day near the end of our trip as the sign approached again and we nearly didn’t turn in.
We left the Catlins quiet early enroute to Te Anau because we wanted to stop off at the Bluff for the famous Bluff Oysters.
Well the weather had turned to shit the moment we got in the car.
